You can selectively record keys, mouse clicks, mouse movements, menu commands and delays between recorded events. You can set default recording options in Options.
To start recording, click the Record button on the toolbar, or press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+R. To end recording, click one of buttons in the QM Recording window:
Insert - insert the recorded code into the current macro.
Replace - replace current macro text with the recorded code.
New - create new macro.
temp - replace text of macro named "temp".
x - cancel.
The QM Recording window also allows you to change recording options for current recording. To make them default, click the def button.
Several window and mouse commands can be quickly recorded with Ctrl+Shift+Alt+W (or other hot key that is defined in Options). It also records window or control definition (win, child or id) or mouse position (with lef).
To record menus (men), click menu Tools -> Record Menu, and then click the menu item you want to record.
To insert file path or Internet link (run, web), drag it from desktop, Start Menu, folder window or web browser.
To insert "run macro" command, drag that item (macro, menu, etc) from the list.
