New macro - create new macro. The drop-down menu lets you create new QM item of other type, or item from template.

Properties - show the Properties dialog, where you can set trigger and other properties of current item.

Trigger - encoded trigger of current item. You can set trigger in the Properties dialog or directly in this field.

Save now - apply and save all changes immediately. Changes also are applied and saved automatically: when you hide or exit QM, when you open other item or file, when a macro starts, etc. Note: Changes made to shared items (items in [s] folders) are not saved.

Run - compile and execute current item.

Compile - check for errors and prepare to run. Read more.

Previous - open previous item.

Active items menu - a drop-down menu that contains commands to work with recently used QM items.

Search Help and Tools - allows you to quickly find help, functions and tools in these sources:

1. QM help file.
2. Floating toolbar dialogs.
3. Functions in folders \System\Functions and \System\Dialogs\Dialog Functions (only in help sections and function names).
4. Functions in specified QM folders (only in help sections and function names). To add folders, search for something and click Options in the menu.
5. Tips.
6. QM forum.
7. Internet (Google).

Type a search query and press Enter. It shows a menu of help topics, floating toolbar dialogs, functions and tips that contain the words. Also you can search in the forum and the Internet. Also you can send your query to an online database as a command/feature request or bug report. The search query can be a question, or a task, or words in any sequence. Finds topics that contain ALL words. Also searches for similar words, eg "get", "gets", "getting". Ignores stop-words, like "a", "to", "how", "it", and nonword characters. Does not support phrase search, operators, etc. Examples:

My Macros - show the My Macros window. View all triggers in single list. Filter, sort, edit, run (use right-click menu). When using the hot key, it behaves slightly differently, and you can use this mode to view triggers that work with currently active program. Window settings also are saved for both modes.

Icons - open the Icons dialog, where you can find or create icons for menus and toolbars.

Options - show the Options dialog.

Record - minimize QM and start recording. Alternatively, press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+R.
